Ministry of Education announces scholarships for Europe; How to register
The Ministry of Education has announced 200 scholarship opportunities for eligible Kenyans to study abroad in Hungary.
In a statement posted on its official website on Friday, November 11, the ministry announced that the scholarship was funded by the gHungarian government.
According to the ministry, the scholarships target undergraduate, masters, doctoral and one-level masters students.
For undergraduate students, the scholarship is available for the following fields of study; Agricultural Sciences, Computing and Information Technology, Legal Sciences, Economics, Engineering Sciences, Medical and Health Sciences, and Natural Sciences.

Masters will be considered for Agricultural Sciences, Computing and Information Technology, Legal Sciences, Economics, Engineering Sciences, Medical and Health Sciences, and Natural Sciences.
Doctoral studies are open to all fields of interest, while the single-level master’s program is open to students who wish to take a medical-related course.

If your application is successful, the scholarship will cover; tuition fees and housing contributions for those residing in hostels.
The university will also provide medical insurance and a monthly stipend.
To be eligible for the undergraduate program, you must have obtained at least a B in the KCSE and have completed your university studies within the last three years. You must also not be over 25 years old.
For postgraduate studies, you must hold a second-class honors degree. For a PhD, you must have a relevant master’s degree.
The deadline for submitting online applications to the Tempus Public Foundation is 16 January 2023 (14:00 Central European Time).
Interested applicants can also download a form to fill out at www.education.go.ke/. And deliver the forms to Teleposta Towers, 27th Floor, Room 2701 no later than January 18, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.
